I have known Melanie since she was 6 years old. Her older sister and I have been dear friends most of our lives, and I’ve watched Melanie grow up, graduate from high school, and last month, I photograph her proposal. I feel so honored to be included in this wedding celebration. Happiest wishes Emerson & Melanie!

Chapin and Jessica are one of a kind. I had an instant connection with Jessica the first time we met and I knew I would love working with her and Chapin. These two are hilarious and we laughed most of this engagement session!  Chapin and Jessica are truly fabulous and I cannot wait for their big day!

Being a part of a proposal is such a special thing! It’s even more special when the girl getting proposed to is one of your dear friends. Allie and I met our freshman year of college and hit it off.   I have always valued her kind words and sweet spirit. A few weeks ago her boyfriend, Daniel, approached me about helping with the proposal. I was so thrilled and honored to be included!

Yesterday was the big day and all the details came together perfectly.   When Daniel brought Allie to the planned spot, she looked around (she admitted she was searching for me) and saw me attempting to hide in the mix of people. She started screaming knowing what was about to happen. These photos document each moment of the proposal and I love the excitement in each of Allie’s expressions.  She said yes, of course.  The moment was absolutely priceless.

Daniel and Allie – I could not be happier for you two. I love the way you encourage and love one another. Your story is so special. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful moment!  I can’t wait for your wedding!

Back in February I had the privilege of being a part of Blake & Ali’s charming Seattle wedding. The day was so delightful! Sinclair & Moore created a beautiful ceremony and reception full of soft colors and delicate details. Blake & Ali were warm and welcoming and I felt so included with their family and friends.
